Empowering Education with Solar Energy Through MCS100 Alumni Contributions

99KW Net Metered with Meralco.

Thanks to our more than 1200 alumni members who attended and supported MCS100 in 2016-17, our Alma Mater now enjoys the power of the sun. Through the generous sponsorship of MCS100 Sunshine Sponsors, we donated the 30% equity for the purchase of a 99KW solar panel system. The system was commissioned in 2018, and just in 2025, was finally connected to Meralco via Net Metering arrangement.

A Timely Investment

With the current energy emergency crisis, and increasing cost of fuel, the system is serving the school's power needs while addressing its operational cost concerns. Truly, our donation to the school was not only worthwhile, but a very timely investment for the school. Mabuhay ka MCS Alumni member - you are a light shiner!
